Augury
House's Annual Fundraiser will be held on June 4, 2011,
beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy an
old-fashioned barn dance at the Tennessen Farm in Catawba,
complete with live music by the Elk River String Band,
starting at 8 p.m.
Events
throughout the day will include hayrides, games, 50-50
drawing, raffles tickets sold on the grounds for prizes
(and you must be present to win these prizes), slow pitch
softball game between the Old Timers and the Young Timers,
Tug of War contest (get your team lined up), teen raffle
with teen appropriate items for prizes, and food provided
by the local 4-H group.
Proceeds
will go to the Augury House Recreation Fund and the
Scholarship Fund. You do not need to be present to
win the following five prizes.
Prizes
include:
1st Prize
-- Vacation for four, including six night's lodging at a
bed & breakfast on Fripp Island, South Carolina with
amenities for golf and tennis
2nd Prize
-- $250 gift certificate from Bader's Sport Store in
Kennan
3rd Prize
-- $250 gift certificate from Kohl's department store
4th Prize
-- $100 in Phillips Chamber Dollars
5th Prize
-- $100 in Park Falls Chamber Dollars
The
Tennessen Farm is located at W9110 County Road J in
Catawba. To get to the farm, go west from Junction
111 & J to the farm or go north on County Road J from
Junction US 8 & J. Watch for signs.

auction will be held for the benefit of the Kurt Mallo
family. Anybody can donate items for the auction.
